Service User Forums

These are organisations that are usually run and supported by people who have had personal experience of using mental health services. They are there to support service users. They provide support for people to meet other users. They also support people to attend meetings with statutory organisations that provide mental health services. This is empowering people to have a say in how mental health services are delivered. It gives statutory organisations the opportunity to listen to the experts, who have used their services, about what improvements and changes they feel need to be made to aid people’s recovery and keep people well.
